Hi All,
As treasurer of the SRA, I write to advise that we have now established a Community Bank Account at Barlays Bank.
At the inaugural meeting of the SRA, the quorum decided that in order that we can meet day to day running costs, we would ask for a small subscription to prove membership. Our financial year runs from 1st April to 31st March and it was agreed that the subscription for the 2013_2014 year is to be set at £20.00 and is based on a "per-dwelling" scenario.
As I mentioned, the funds will be accumulated and used for its running costs and the sole benefit of the Association. Accounts will be filed annually on this platform and I will arrange for them to be independently scrutinised before being adopted by Committee.
For those of you who have shown their support already, I thank you, and for those who maybe didn't receive my email, should you wish to become a member and have your say, then I am happy to accept a cheque payment. Please make your cheque payable to Sandrocks Residents Association and write your name and address on Cedar Way on the reverse. You can then drop it through our door at No.30 and I will arrange to bank it. Please use an envelope as we get Buisness mail at our address and don't want it to get mixed up.
Should you wish to pay by bacs, then please email me on bruce@redwellassociates.co.uk and I will email you back with the details. Due to security, I never post bank details online.
I do hope that you will show your support for this very worthwhile cause, as it will give us a strong voice.
Remember too that the SRA is open to ALL residents of Cedar Avenue and I would welcome our friends placed by Saxon Weald to join, as they too have a say in this young community.
We have an exciting year planned and look forward to chatting with you at the forthcoming Easter Barbeque. On that subject remember for the little ones, to bring an Easter Egg as we will be organising an Easter Egg Hunt!!
If the adults fancy an Easter Egg hunt too, then please let me know and we'll even try to organise that too - try to stop me! Lets just hope for good weather.
Kind regards
Bruce Rose
