We are currently experiencing a spate of vehicle crime in the rural villages surrounding Haywards Heath. These crimes consist of parts being stolen as well as theft of the vehicles themselves. Vehicles being targeted are predominantly Land Rover Defenders.
If you do not have a garage, always try to park in a well lit area. Always ensure your vehicle is locked and secure. Where possible use immobilisers and alarm systems on your vehicles.
If you see anything suspicious please contact Sussex Police on the 101 non emergency or 999 if a crime is in progress. If possible make a note of vehicles seen in suspicious circumstances.
